Kees is Chief Inspiration Officer at the Top Consortium for Knowledge and Innovation (TKI) of the top sector Agri & Food and BioBased Economy. In the past, Kees has been General Director of the innovation program Food & Nutrition Delta. He has also been General Director of the Agrotechnology & Food Sciences Group and the RIKILT Institute for Food Safety, both at Wageningen University & Research (WUR). Kees obtained a doctoral degree in process engineering from WUR.
