Jordy van Honk is an economist working on sustainable supply chains and landscapes around food commodities production and trade. He is passionate about the ability to drive change through multi-stakeholder partnerships with strong private sector involvement. He is driven to experience the day that agricultural commodities trade works much better for people and planet upstream in the supply chain.
Jordy acts as one of the four business unit leaders of IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative. As the Global Director of Agriculture Commodities he is part of the executive management team of the overall organization. Over the past 9 years Jordy had several roles at IDH, and led some of the most innovative supply chain programs around living wage, deforestation, gender equality, and smallholder farmer inclusion.
