Onshore wind energy has an enormous potential, but low hanging fruit is gone. Therefore, projects with larger wind turbines encounter social acceptance issues which are not foreseen. What if windturbines were a community owned asset to the landscape, in stead of a corporate stain on the horizon? By mitigating these so-called NIMBY effects, Arkom windpower is enabling the public and companies. With support from expert partners, like TU Delft and TNO-ECN, the path to success is defined.
